Details: Great Camp Sagamore brings you a weekend of paddling and fun. Canoes and kayaks are perfectly suited to the peaceful, historic waterways surrounding Great Camp Sagamore. Each day’s journey will take you along scenic lakes and quiet streams once traveled by the guides and guests who helped shape Adirondack outdoor traditions. Activities: guided paddles, campfires, optional hikes, and presentation from guide.
Participants must be at least 14 years old. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
