About this Event:
The Dansville Fish and Game Club will be hosting a Womens Hunt on October 25th.
The Dansville Fish and Game club will be providing the dogs and the handlers. NYSDEC Reynolds Game Farm will provide the birds.
You will need to come prepared for a day in the field. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Please bring a 12 or 20 ga shotgun and ammunition. (Comfortable boots are a must.) Blaze orange vest/jacket and Hat will be required of ALL who take the field for this event. Participants will be required to have a valid NYS hunting license.
We recommend high brass #4, 5, or 6 shot. Open trap and skeet shooting for practice is available weekly Tuesday afternoons and Sunday mornings at the club, for any who would like to get some practice in before we take the field. We hold "Hunting with Dogs" safety seminars prior to the season opener as well.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
