About this Event:
The Dansville Fish and Game Club would like to invite all Military Veterans to join us for a day of wing shooting. All veterans are welcome to bring a friend or family member along and come enjoy the day.
The club will be providing the bird dogs and handlers, the DEC's Reynolds Game Farm will be providing the birds.
Participants will be required to have a valid NYS hunting license. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather conditions. Comfortable waterproof boots are a must as many of these hunts cover up to 5 miles of walking in field conditions. All participants will be required to wear blaze orange vest/jacket and hat. Please bring the shotgun of your choice, appropriate ammo (#4,5,or 6 high brass) for your gun, and your own drinking water.

Overview:
HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.
Events are designed for all ability levels, unless otherwise indicated.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
