About this Event:
Rich Burke, in cooperation with Fur, Fin, and Feathers, is pleased to offer a Sponsored Pheasant Hunt. Join us at 5578 Searsburg Rd on October 17th at 9:00 AM to try your hand at pheasant hunting.
Participants will be guided by our volunteer dog handlers, who are eager to share their knowledge. The hunt is open to youth, novices, women, and Veterans. All participants must have a valid NYS hunting license and adhere to all state rules and regulations.
Additionally, participants are required to wear either a high-visibility hat, shirt, or vest for the event. You should bring a shotgun that you are familiar with and supply your own ammunition. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear. Some light refreshments will be provided.

Overview:
HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.
Events are designed for all ability levels, unless otherwise indicated.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
