About this Event:
This is a hunter education course (Saturday September 26) where you are required to complete the DEC homework questions PRIOR to arriving at class. The manual and questions can be picked up at Cornell Cooperative Extension Warren County 377 Schroon River Rd Warrensburg, NY 12885 on Monday-Friday from 9AM -4:15 PM. You may also download the manual ( https://assets.kalkomey.com/hunter/pdfs/newyork/todays-hunter-ny-manual.pdf ) and homework (https://assets.kalkomey.com/hunter/pdfs/newyork/todays-hunter-ny-worksheet.pdf ) from the DEC website. You must bring the HOMEWORK sheet and the manual to class. The class will be hands-on safety training and field training to enhance the materials covered in the manual and will include the required examination to complete the course. Successful participants will be provided a hunter education certificate that will allow them to purchase a license. Bring outdoor shoes, a raincoat, a lunch, water, and completed homework.

Minimum Age Policies:
Student must be at least 11 years of age to attend the Hunter Education Course, unless he/she will, within the next year, hunt in a state that allows hunting under the age of 12 years. Check with the instructor as some restrictions will apply.
