About this Event:
Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures would like to invite you to a Veterans Pheasant Hunt.
Hunt details are as follows.
Date: October 10, 2026
Location: 125 Brouse Rd, Norfolk, NY
Time: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
We will hold a brief safety meeting before the hunt. Our volunteer guides will bring both pointing and flushing dogs to assist you during the event. Participants must have a valid hunting license and should bring their own shotgun and ammunition. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear. Additionally, all participants are required to wear a hunter orange or pink vest or a similar item (such as a hoodie, jacket, or shirt) and a hat. Lunch and drinks will be provided.
The hunt will take place, rain or shine.

HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
