About this Event:
Fort Drum Outdoor Recreation will be hosting a youth pheasant hunt on November 14th.
Hunt details are as follows.
Date: November 14, 2026
Location: 11115 Iraqi Freedom Dr, Fort Drum, NY
Time: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Participants must have a valid hunting license and should bring their own shotgun and ammunition. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear. Additionally, all participants are required to wear a hunter orange or pink vest or a similar item (such as a hoodie, jacket, or shirt) and a hat. Participants must also have eye and ear protection.
The hunt will take place, rain or shine.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
