About this Event:
The Central New York Pheasants Forever will be hosting their annual Women’s hunt on October 11!!
Hunt details are as follows.
Date: October 11, 2026
Hunt Location: 3623 State Route 104, Mexico, NY, 13114
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
All participants must have a valid hunting license and should bring their own shotgun and ammunition. Each participant is required to wear an orange or pink vest or similar item, along with an orange or pink hat. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
Coffee and donuts will be provided before the hunt at 9:30 AM, and we will also have a brief safety briefing regarding hunting over dogs and pheasant hunting in general. After the hunt, lunch will be provided, followed by a lesson on processing.

HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
