About this Event:
The South Seneca Sportsmen Club would like to invite you to its annual Pheasant Hunt, Open to Youth, Women, Novice, and Veteran hunters.
Hunt details are as follows.
Date: October 31, 2026
Hunt Location: 6894 Yarnell Rd, Ovid, NY,14521
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
All participants must have a valid hunting license and should bring their own shotgun and ammunition. Each participant is required to wear an orange or pink vest or similar item, along with an orange or pink hat. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
Breakfast will be provided at the club, followed by a Safety meeting and a round of clay pigeons on the range before the hunt.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
