About this Event:
The Corning Fish and Game Club would like to invite you to a Novice Pheasant Hunt.
This is open to novice hunters under the age of 18 interested in pheasant hunting.
Event Details as Follows:
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Location: Ackerson Rd, Addison, NY, 14801
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Thursday, November 5th, we will meet at the Corning Fish and Game Club to shoot a round of trap and go over the information for the hunt.
What to bring:
NYS Hunting license
Blaze orange hat and vest
Shotgun and upland shells
Gloves
Water/Snacks
Safety Glasses
Boots
Brush pants or heavy pants
Upland vest (if you have one)
Lunch will be provided after the hunt by the Corning Fish and Game Club at their clubhouse. (Burgers & Hotdogs)

HFNY events allow you to see what the outdoor experience and wildlife conservation are all about.
Event topics can include target shooting, archery, fishing, field dressing, trapping, mentored hunts, seminars, social gatherings and more.

HuntFishNY events are offered by NY DEC and a network of partners and instructors who conduct hands-on events, teaching the basics of hunting, fishing, trapping, outdoor safety, wildlife, and other outdoor skills.
DEC may facilitate registration and aid in advertising for HFNY events. If not a DEC hosted or co-hosted event, the logistics and implementation of the event are solely the responsibility of the host.
